Routers

Basic technical parameters of the new hardware router.

The following functions are included as basic technical parameters in the new hardware routers (with all other features available upon customer request):

  1. The router supports protocols commonly used for Ethernet (e.g. IEEE 802 group standards, 802.3 subgroups, etc.), operates in Ethernet at the level of backbone networks, performs border router functions, and works in corporate networks of various levels and types
  2. The routers support operation on all interfaces of existing networks, including ATM 155/622 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet and 10G Ethernet, SDH with speeds ranging from 155 Mbps to 10 Gbps, and more
  3. The router's performance per interface (port) is no less than 10 Gbps (providing expansion to 40 Gbps for creating high-speed and high-performance networks of various levels)
  4. The routers provide automatic routing using routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP, and others
  5. The router has several execution options based on the task at hand
  6. The main technological base consists of modern high-speed PLDs that allow for flexible combination of addressing and management based on a combination of MAC and IP addresses
  7. Implementation of automatic traffic filtering based on various criteria is available
  8. The routers ensure the reliable operation of communication networks with the ability to quickly switch to backup channels and solve additional tasks such as:
    - creating distribution networks for broadcasting services (e.g. for nationwide TV broadcasting);
    - implementing encryption for transmitted traffic between individual network subscribers or within corporate networks;
    - creating encryption networks for broadcast signal;
    - organizing the operation of special-purpose closed networks
  9. Additional options are implemented both existing in Ethernet and a set of special options for specific use within the country. It is possible to eliminate these options outside the designated territory of use. The boundaries of the designated territory are established through centralized router management. The management functions are also implemented for addressing other tasks
